WebSCoRE

Introduction

WebSCoRE is a freeware, parallel concordancer that allows users to check word and phrase usage in an English and Japanese educational corpus.

Author

WebSCoRE is developed by Laurence ANTHONY (Waseda University, Japan) in collaboration with Kiyomi CHUJO (Nihon University, Japan).

WebSCoRE uses the Sentence Corpus of Remedial English (SCoRE) database developed by SCoRE project. The SCoRE database currently contains eleven categorized grammar items with 5,863 semi-authentic sentences which are specially written to satisfy particular pedagogical considerations and avoid any copyright issues (see here).
